Chris Guenther wins research award

On 16th July 2013 by Jeremy Bradley.
AESOP is delighted to learn that Chris Guenther has just been awarded a 2013 Intel Doctoral Student Honour.
The award was given in recognition of his research into spatial stochastic systems with applications in wireless sensor networks and bicycle hire schemes in cities.
The award citation said:
This was a highly competitive process with many outstanding quality applicants across several universities and exciting areas of research.
Chris was only one of two students to receive the award at Imperial College this year. He will collect the award at the Europe Research and Innovation Conference (ERIC) in October.
Last year Gareth Jones and Daniel (Jack) Kelly both won the 2012 Intel Doctoral Student award.
Congratulations Chris!
