Research Associate working on the Intelligent Management of Big Data Storage (iBids) Project. Aims of iBids include stochastic modelling of multi-tiered storage systems, building queueing models for approximating response time and throughput to meet SLA requirements and understanding spatiotemporal behaviour of storage workloads.

Past experience includes: Quantitative Researcher at 80 CAPITAL LLP (2013). Software Developer at UBS AG (2011-2012). First-Class Honours, M.Sci in Joint Mathematics and Computing at Imperial College London (2007-2011). Donald Davies Memorial Prize for the Best Final Year Project in Mathematics/Computing (2011).

Other interests are hidden Markov models, queueing theory, time-series analysis, financial modelling, Karate (1st Dan black belt), football (, chess, acting in short films ( and IC Drama Society (
