I was an RA with Peter Harrison financed by the Grid Grant project. I started work at Imperial in June 2000 as RA on the QUAINT grant. Before that I worked for Metron Technology Ltd. (http://www.metron.co.uk/) in Taunton from August 1996 to May 2000. I spent about 9 years in higher education, ending up with an MSc in Particle Theory from Durham University, a "Diplom-Physiker" (BSc) in Physics from the Christian-Albrechts Universitaet zu Kiel and finally a PhD from Durham University in Applied Mathematics (or Particle Theory depending on your point of view).
From January 2012 I will be working for PassivSystems.
Interests: scaling phenomena, GRID performance, stochastic processes
